One system for a major event

The challenge
National multi-sport events need many critical systems to work together, across cities and languages, while athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators move through the same event.
What we built
As part of the program’s technology consortium, we contributed to a platform that connects event organizers, volunteers, participants and media teams. It brings accreditation, ticketing, accommodation and live operations together, links to existing security and timing systems, and gives participants self-service access through the UGAMES app.
Why it matters
The platform has been in continuous development since 2013, before Exabyte Group’s formation in 2016. Our team’s experience comes from contributing within the program’s technology consortium and evolving the system across a succession of major events.
